The ITA Trade Agreements Compliance Program is the U.S. Government’s framework for monitoring the operation of over 250 industrial trade agreements including free trade agreements, and removing foreign trade barriers or remedying unfair situations you face in foreign markets.
The Program works to break down barriers to market access abroad and proactively monitors and helps promote foreign government compliance with trade agreement obligations. It provides a framework for proactive monitoring of trade agreements; a process for identification, investigation, and resolution of trade barriers for companies; and the strategy for conducting outreach to inform stakeholders of efforts and services in this area.
There is no cost for this service, and accessing the full weight of the U.S. government to help you overcome foreign trade barriers is as easy as filling out the online Trade Complaint Hotline form.
