Scope of the Order

The scope of this order includes tin mill flat-rolled products that are coated or plated with tin, chromium or chromium oxides. Flat-rolled steel products coated with tin are known as tin plate. Flat-rolled steel products coated with chromium or chromium oxides are known as tin-free steel or electrolytic chromium-coated steel. The scope includes all the noted tin mill products regardless of thickness, width, form (in coils or cut sheets), coating type (electrolytic or otherwise), edge (trimmed, untrimmed or further processed, such as scroll cut), coating thickness, surface finish, temper, coating metal (tin, chromium, chromium oxide), reduction (single-or double-reduced), and whether or not coated with a plastic material. Scope Inquiry 01/07/2005 Electrolytic Tin Plate & Tin Free Steel (MOA) View Document No We recommend the Department find Holasa's ETP and TFS, produced from both SRBP and DRBP of Japanese origin, is not within the TMP Order.
Changed Circumstances Review 02/03/2003 No Commerce published a notice of initiation of a changed circumstances review with the intent to revoke, in part, the antidumping duty order on certain tin mill products from Japan with respect to certain laminated tin-free steel Therefore, in our final results of the changed circumstances review, the Department hereby revokes this order with respect to all future entries for consumption of certain laminated tin free steel, as described below .
Changed Circumstances Review 06/14/2002 View Document No The Department of Commerce (‘‘the Department’’) published a notice in our final results of the changed circumstances review the Department hereby revokes this order with respect to all unliquidated entries for consumption of tin-free steel, as described below
Scope Inquiry 03/21/2002 Double-Reduced Electrolytic Tin Plate (Ton-Yi) No We recommend that the Department determine that certain tin mill products made in Taiwan from Japanese DRBP are new and different articles. Accordingly, DRBP from Japan made into specific tin mill products in Taiwan is not subject to the AD Order on TMP from Japan.
Changed Circumstances Review 10/02/2001 View Document No The Department published the preliminary results of the changed circumstances review and preliminarily determined that several interested parties are interested in the maintenance of the order with respect to the merchandise described below, and that there was no reasonable basis to believe that changed circumstances sufficient to warrant revocation exist. Thus we determine that changed circumstances do not exist to warrant revocation of the order in part.
Scope Inquiry 08/27/2001 Tin-Free Single Reduced ECCS (Okaya) View Document Yes We recommend that the Department determine that the certain tin mill products at issues are covered by the scope of the AD order on TMP from Japan.
